A Little About Me
Originally from Canada, I spent roughly a decade living in Montréal, Québec, before making the move to Paris in 2025. My time in Montréal had a profound impact on my character, teaching me the true value of community and connection. Over the years, I’ve come to cherish the principles of respect, empathy, and authenticity in my relationships and within myself; defining my path forward and becoming central to both my personal and professional life.
My academic journey led me to work in the outpatient psychiatric department of a Montreal hospital, where I supported patients with long-term schizophrenia. Later, I joined Libera Clinic, a community-driven psychiatric clinic pioneering publicly funded psychiatric care in Montreal. This role provided invaluable experience with the DSM and its qualifiers, and it played a major part in shaping the therapist I am today. I learned that while pathology and biomedical models are important, psychosocial treatment and investment in understanding systemic patterns through therapy is incredibly valuable for transformative and lasting growth.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outdoors—whether hiking, running, exploring new places, or simply relaxing in the park. I love staying active and traveling, and I find that being in nature keeps me grounded and clear-headed. It’s an essential part of how I maintain balance in my life. I also enjoy socializing, dinner parties, going to concerts or the cinema, and consuming literature/media about human behaviour and emotional responses.
